About Lainie Rowell:

Lainie Rowell is an independent professional developer and consultant. In addition to being a part of the November Learning team, her client list includes Apple, CUE and EdTechTeam. She is also the Program Coordinator for Leading Edge Certification.

Lainie works closely with classroom teachers, principals and district administrators providing professional development on best practices and ways to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning. Prior to this, Lainie spent 6 years as a district-level K-12 educational technology coordinator, 3 years as a site-level professional developer and 7 years in the classroom teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 6th grade.

She is a presenter at local, regional and international conferences including Building Learning Communities (BLC), Macworld, and the Computer Using Educators (CUE) Conference. Lainie serves on CUE’s Board of Directors and is the Orange County CUE Board Past President.

Lainie has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University. She has also earned a Multiple Subject Credential and Master of Arts in Educational Technology from California State University, Long Beach where she is a guest lecturer.

Lainie is honored to be an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer and STAR Discovery Educator. She has also been recognized as Teacher of the Year and was featured in OC Family Magazine as one of 10 Teachers Making a Difference.
